About

Toby Peach is a theatre maker, facilitator and performer based in London. He creates stories to engage audience with difficult subject matter, particularly on climate change and cancer.

In 2015 he was on the BBC Performing Arts Fund ‘Ones to Watch’. Toby has been developing an exciting methodology, connecting with, and creating stories for, and with, young adults who have experienced cancer in the UK. His critically acclaimed show The Eulogy of Toby Peach has reached over 5000 people. His follow up, The Other Side Of A Hurricane, commissioned by Teenage Cancer Trust, has reached over 1000 young experiencers and healthcare professionals. In 2019 he launched the Looking Forward pilot, working with 10 young adults cancer experiencers over 3 months to make a new theatre show and explore how creativity can support those post-treatment.

He is an Associate Artist with theatre-makers Coney and runs their young change-makers group, The Young Coneys, who make play to spark change for adult audiences. In 2018, we collaborated with Greenpeace to deliver Codename:Violet, a playful intervention at a car industry gala to promote ditching diesel.
