About

Since working as an Head Gardener and educator at Sonairte eco-centre and gardens, Michael has sustained an interest in developing and promoting organic and ecologically sustainable practices. From providing sound system for festivals and music events, managing and headlining his reggae stage at festivals, and charitably providing technical support for emerging cultural events in Ireland, Michael has been an engaged member of the events community in Ireland for the last 20 years. Currently Site Manager for Body&Soul, Knockanstockan, and Townlands festivals, Creative Director for Life Festival, and Build Co-ordinator for Shambala Festival in the UK, Michael is also currently working as Creative Climate Leader with Julie’s Bicycle. Michael strives to connect Ireland to an international network whose aim is to address sustainability issues in contemporary society and has presented his innovative work and current projects in development at the X conference in London in 2017.
