About

Astrid is an academic, podcaster and literary critic. In 2023 she began a PhD at the University of Melbourne exploring how climate fiction is perceived by the publishing and bookselling industries in Australia. Astrid hosts ‘The Garret: Writers and Publishing’ and has interviewed more than 250 of Australia’s most prominent writers and publishers.
