Guy Ritani (Ia/they/them) is a proud Ngāti Toa Rangatira, Ngāti Koata, Ngāti Kahungunu & Macnamara takatāpui Māori artist, activist, designer and community organiser. Co-founder of PermaQueer Guy’s work is within the growing edge of our systemic ecological relationships to Whenua/Country, building food systems, economic support systems and housing that aligns to our planetary limits. Guy is active across Oceania in organising & advocacy in the intersections of arts & culture, food systems & climate action. Guy is very passionate about restructuring social systems in alignment with climate justice & uses their practice & consultancy to reorient organisations, movements & communities towards regenerative action. Their storytelling practice applies whatever medium is available & contextual to platform the stories needing to be told.
