Lala is a cultural manager in the public sector. Laia has a degree in Media Studies and a Post-Graduate degree in Cultural Production and Communication. Since 2005, Lala has worked at Catalan Institute for Cultural Companies (ICEC), a public regional agency that supports the development of Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI). She is coordinating a training programme at the Business Development Service (SDE) taking on roles in planning, programming and communication and developing a consultancy scheme for the Catalan CCIs. She has also worked at the SITGES – International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia. Lala is coordinating a documentary film festival, DFA – Docs for Action, about consumerism, environment and activism and a food waste event in her hometown.
