Marta García Haro

Since 2015, Marta García Haro has been responsible for the Spanish office of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), a UN-backed international network for the promotion of global sustainable development. Also, she is the director of the annual Seminar “Sustainability and cultural institutions” (which celebrated its 3rd edition in March 2019), and the founder of the Plaform #CulturaSostenible, an association of cultural agents that promotes sustainability in the arts sector. Previously, she pursued her professional career in the cultural arena, where she has directed and coordinated projects for the Malaga Picasso Museum Foundation and the Reina Sofia National Museum, amongst other institutions. Similarly, she has collaborated since its inception at INTRA Foundation, an NGO that works for the inclusion in the workplace of people at risk of social exclusion. She has a BA in Economics and a BA in History of Art from the University of Valencia and a Master’s Degree in Management and Communication of Cultural Policies from LUMSA University (Italy).
